For two centuries, travellers have visited the mud baths and sulphur springs of Ķemeri and the pine-scented air of Jūrmala to improve their health.
On my tour from Riga to Ķemeri National Park, I will pick you up from your hotel and drive you to these remarkable sites.
Our first stop is Ķemeri National Park, where we will experience surreal raised bog landscapes with pools, mosses, and wooden boardwalks on the 4 km long Ķemeri Bog Walk. After this we will visit the historic Ķemeri sanatorium for sweeping views from the observation tower.

If you like we can have lunch in a local cafe, or we can have a picnic in the Ķemeri resort gardens.
Suitably refreshed, we then head to Jūrmala for a walking tour of timber cottages, Soviet marvels and pine-fringed beaches.
You'd also enjoy an in-depth walking tour in Jūrmala, or an excursion to Sigulda.
In the capital, take a highlights walk of Riga, discover hidden corners of Old Town, gaze at amazing Art Nouveau, or ponder dramatic history on a Soviet tour.
